Parlourbook ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application for managing schedules, walk-ins, payments, staff, and clients for service-based businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how Parlourbook handles your information.

1. Data Storage

Parlourbook is an offline-first application. All data you enter — including business details, staff information, client records, bookings, and payment records — is stored locally on your device using an on-device SQLite database.

We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your business data. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it (e.g. PDF exports or CSV files).

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal information.
We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry.
We do not track your location.
We do not use cookies or advertising identifiers.
We do not share data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

3. Third-Party Services

Parlourbook uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat — to process in-app purchases (upgrading to Pro). RevenueCat receives only the purchase transaction data required by Apple and Google to complete the purchase. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store — the platform through which you download the app and make purchases. These platforms handle payment processing under their own privacy policies.

4. SMS Messaging

Parlourbook can send SMS messages (e.g. booking confirmations, reminders) using your device's native messaging capability. SMS messages are sent directly from your device. We do not route messages through our servers and do not have access to message content or recipient phone numbers.

5. Biometric Authentication

Parlourbook supports Face ID, Touch ID, and fingerprint authentication to secure access to the app. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. We never access, store, or transmit biometric data.

6. Data Backup and Deletion

Since all data is stored on your device, your data is included in your device's standard backup process (e.g. iCloud backup, Google backup). To delete all Parlourbook data, simply uninstall the app from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Parlourbook is a business management tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
